PAFM Town hall
April 13 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The PAFM* (Pan African Federalist Movement) is hosting a Town Hall meeting at the NBWSM (New Black Wall Street Market) on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. Doors will open at Noon. This event will feature a panel discussion with representatives of various organizations in the Metro-Atlanta Region. The topic will deal with the critical issues African people in the Congo are experiencing that are blocked from mass media. The situation there is worse than what’s happening with the Palestinian and Ukrainian people. Africans here in the US need to understand the global economic struggle to control critical minerals in the Congo.
Our purpose is to:
- Link the suffering in the Congo to the broader global economic struggle
- To pressure the Federal Government to change its position on the Cong0
- To understand the complex relationship between the Congo and Rwanda
- To be more sophisticated in analyzing the players in the Cong
- Focus on how the global economic struggle is affecting us here in Metro Atlanta,
- Have each organization represented give a brief statement on what they see as solutions during this era of Trump.
Our secondary purpose is to organize food access and food sovereignty here in the Metro. It is not guaranteed that fresh food will be available on grocery store shelves by the end of this year. We need to be prepared by finding ways to grow our food. There will be black farmers attending our event selling fresh produce and informing our people how to grow our food.
